With Ease
As I continue on my self-development journey, I realize how essential it is for me to give myself grace - and grace on the daily. Life can take some pretty unexpected turns, so I like to create a grace filled practice that keeps me happy, safe and filled with love. Here are some ways I take care of myself and create balance to ride out those (sometimes crazy) waves of life.
Being my best friend
This took me awhile to develop, but for the last year I’ve really focused on being my own best friend. In the past, I could be extremely hard on myself for mistakes or any misstep. Now when something unexpected happens, my reaction is to take myself by the hand and show myself love and grace - especially when times are hard.
Getting my zzz’s
Definitely the next most important thing on my list ha. I love to get my nightly self-care routine on, add some lavender to my diffusor and tuck myself into bed.
Making my home feel safe
My home is my sanctuary. I surround myself with love and beauty. My favorite things are candles, crystals and special handwritten notes from the people I cherish.
Giving myself space to create
I make time to create what I feel and to create in ways that I love. This is my form of meditation.
